I recently picked up an Eton E1 off of eBay. It runs $500+ new, so it was nice to find a gently used one for less than half that - hooray! I'm trying to think of a name for it, but still need to think on a good one. Anyway, a good review of the radio can be found here.
My review is that it is amazing performance-wise! I've used some nice portables, and this radio just steps everything up a few notches. It is smooth, and has great filtering capability. It has made finding hard-to-hear and far, far away stations much easier to find. The ergonomics aren't so hot, but for what I paid for it, I'm very happy!
Now I just need to get busy logging and posting what I'm able to hear.
